Use ‘enter’ to select the desired icon.
Use ‘clock’ to check the time.

Sound On / Off
To switch the sound on / off, press and hold ‘left’ and ‘right’ at the same time for approx. 3 seconds while in the game mode.

Alert Beep Sound
Your dino will beep on you, should he need something – check the status icon and tend to him. Remember that there is no attention icon, so check on him often, as there is a chance you will miss the beeping sound.

 Water Icon
Choose this icon to give your dino a drink.

 Food Icon
You can feed your dino with many different kinds of food.  Depending on what you will choose to feed him, will affect his evolution process.

 Lightbulb Icon
Select this icon to turn the lights on / off. Remember to always turn off the lights when he falls asleep, otherwise he will wake up sick.

 Petting Icon
You can pet your dino by selecting this icon; it will raise his education meter.

 Status Icon
Select this icon to view your dino’s current stats: happiness, education, weight, age, hunger, thirst, and temperature.

 Game Icon
This is a ‘rock-paper-scissors’ game. The goal is to let your dino win at least 3 / 5 times during one game. Just playing the game, even if he does not win, still raises his happy meter.

 Book Icon
This will raise his education level. He will start off with an E+ and you can make him go all the way up to an A+.

 Bathtub Icon
Select this icon when your dino turns dark = gets dirty. It will give him a shower.

 Air Conditioner Icon
25 degrees Celsius is the best temperature for your dino. When he gets too cold, he shivers. When he gets too hot, he gets angry. Maintain 25 degrees by turning on / off the air conditioner. Remember to check on him every ~15 minutes to control the temperature. Otherwise he will get sick easily.

 Medicine Icon
When your dino gets sick, you will have to give him an injection. After that ALL his stats will get empty and you will have to fill them up again.

When Your Dino Gets Mad at You

Sometimes your dino will show you an angry face. This will look a bit different from when he gets angry because the temperature is too high. When he makes an angry face, be sure to give him an ice cream – this will make him happy immediately. It would be also good to play the game with him, as this means he feels abandoned and just unhappy.

Adjusting the Clock
To change the time, press and hold ‘esc’ and ‘enter’ buttons at the same time in the game mode and wait for the beep sound. Then adjust the time (see: setting the clock).

When Your Dino Dies

Your dino can die of old age, or sickness, so make sure to check on him rather often.
If your dino dies, you can restart by pressing the ‘reset’ button at the back.
Note: remember NOT to use any sharp objects like needles to do this. Personally I would recommend using a stylus from Nintendo DS; you can buy these separately and they are not expensive.
