v4 and v4.5 - General Guide








ITEMS, FOOD, AND SOUVENIRS 

 I have recently found my old notebook, in which I have gathered all the codes for the v4 and v4.5 all those years ago, when the TamaTown site was still active.


I have tested them on my v4 and v4.5 and they work, so I have decided to publish them, for everyone to use. 


There is a catch, however - you have to set up the same username on your Tamagotchi as mine, as otherwise you will not be able to use the codes.

* Note: I obviously had to re-type all the codes by hand, so as much as I tried to stay 100% focused and copy them without any mistakes, I am still human, so it is possible that I have made an error somewhere. In case that happened and you find the code that does not work, please contact me through the form on the left side of the site, and let me know which one exactly, so that I can go back to the notebook and correct the error. THE MATCHMAKER 

She starts visiting your Tamagotchi between age 6-10, three times a day:
  • 10:30 a.m.
  • 3:00 p.m.
  • 7:00 p.m.

Updates every day at:
  • 3 p.m.
  • 7 p.m.




SECRET CODES

BBCA CCCA = Pen (15,000 GP)
ACAB ACAC = Steak (1,400 GP)
BAAB ACBA = !! (clone) (14,000 GP)
CCBA AABB = Love Potion / Honey (7,000 GP)
CAAA BACB = CD3 (0 GP)

* If you enter all five shop codes, the last code you enter will not give you what the code is for! Instead, it will give you a RARE CELL PHONE. If you would still like to get the last item from the last code, you will have to re-enter the code and buy it. Entering the code for "CD3" last makes most sense, because this item is free.

BCAA CBAB = Pen (15,000 GP)
BABC BAAA = Steak (1,400 GP)

PRE-SCHOOL, SCHOOL, WORK

 Depending on which stage of life your Tamagotchi has reached, your character will go to pre-school, school, and work. 

 When your character is aged 0-2 years, it can visit the pre-school. Your character will automatically interact with the teacher.



When your character is aged between 2-5 years, it will be able to go to school.
You can choose between 3 teachers: Mr Turtlepedia (helps increase Intelligence points), Mrs Flower (helps raise Style points) and Mr Canvas (helps raise Kindness points).
Mini-game (chance-based): Your teacher will offer you a gift. Press A, B, or C to choose the corresponding gift. If you pick the box that contains the special icon, your skill points will increase!



Once your character graduates from school, you will receive a special letter showing you the different jobs available for your character.

 HOW TO SELECT A JOB
Press A to switch through available jobs. Press B to apply for the job of your choice. If all members of the panel raise up an O, your character passes the job interview. If any of them shows a X, your character fails the interview.

 When your character is ready to go to work, you will be able to play a mini-game related to the job you have chosen. Playing the mini-game will affect your character's salary and skill points. 
Press A to select the "IR Icon", then select WORK and press B.

IT'S GOOD TO KNOW... 
  • On 24.12 at 10:30 p.m your Tamagotchi will be visited by Santaclautchi
  • Between the end of March and beginning of April you will be able to see an Easter egg on your Tamagotchi (if your character is an adult)
  • On 31.10 you will be able to see a Jack'o'Lantern on your Tamagotchi (if your character is an adult)
  • During February you will be able to see a Snowman on your Tamagotchi (if your character is an adult)
  • During June your character will be walking around with a backpack (if your character is an adult)
  • During December your Tamagotchi will be putting up a Christmas Tree (if your character is an adult)
  • On 21.06 / 22.06 you will be able to see a small sun, for the celebration of the first day of Summer
  • On 01.01 you will be able to see fireworks on your Tamagotchi
  • On your Birthday make sure to use the stereo item; it will play 'Happy Birthday' for you
  • During Christmas make sure to use the stereo item; it will play Christmas carols for you
  • If you receive a letter with 3 stars for money, you can earn more Gotchi Points when playing games. It is also more likely that Gotchi King will visit you and give you a present.
  • If you receive a letter with 3 stars for health, your Tamagotchi's immunity will grow, so it will be less likely to fall ill.
  • If you receive a letter with 3 stars for love, it will be a lot easier for your Tamagotchi to increase the friendship level when connecting with another Tamagotchi.
