The Yasashii has no icons to scroll through on the screen itself. Instead there are buttons representing the icons, hence its name simple Tamagotchi.
It has no attention icon either – should it need something (for example food), the corresponding button will start blinking:

Food button – only one food option available; no snacks. The food changes depending on the growth stage.

Happy button – two options available. Use button 1 to scroll between them.

  •  Game – find the missing replica of the cake shown in the upper left corner of the screen. The corresponding buttons will be lit up – choose one of them to see if you guessed correctly. There are 5 rounds – you need to guess at least 3 / 5 to win the game.

  • Snack – give your little character a delicious snack. Each snack makes it gain 2g.

Discipline / medicine button – press this button whenever your character gets sick. If it beeps on you for no reason, press this button to discipline it.

Toilet button – press it whenever your character makes a poop to flush it away.

Light button – press it to turn off the lights when your character goes to sleep.
