Once you see the shopkeeper, press the A buton once and make a short pause, then press it again 3 times without a pause. The shopkeeper will change his look into a surprised one - that is when you can enter a special code.

* When you have entered all 7 codes, the last item will be replaced by a RARE re-useable Hohotchi costume. It makes most sense to enter the cheapest item last, then re-enter its code again and purchase it from the shopkeeper.
